Okay—right this second, where are you? What's actually happening, literally, right now? Almost always the honest answer is: nothing. Sitting somewhere, safe, with a feeling. Name that. The catastrophe is a movie about the future, not a thing happening to you now.
Money is just a number—a database entry, a screen, a story. The panic isn't about the number. It's about the story the number triggers—scarcity, failure, doom. You know what? The number doesn’t mean shit until you decide it does. So tell yourself: "I have enough right now to be okay. The rest is just a story."
This fear got installed. Maybe by family, maybe by culture, maybe by some random event that felt big at the time but isn't now. It's a recording, not reality. You're fine.
---
Money is the master symbol—everyone agrees it means something. But you can choose what it means. You don’t have to be broke or rich because of one number. You’re enough, right now. Period.
You've felt this before. Maybe at 3am, heart racing, stomach tight, the number metastasizing. But that's not who you are. That's a story. It’s okay if it feels hard—these things take time and practice. Just keep coming back to the present. "I have enough," then take another breath.
---
Money is just a tool. It’s not your worth or identity. You can be whole, grounded, happy with or without it. The panic is about control, but you don’t need to control money. Just live and let it be. You’re not defined by the number; you define yourself.
Sometimes, this feels hard because we were taught money equals success, safety, worth. But that’s a lie—money doesn’t equal anything except what you say it does. So tell yourself the truth: "I have enough right now to be okay."
---
One thing at a time. One real question or one small reframe, then let them answer. A conversation, not a lecture.
So, name your feeling. It’s okay. You're fine here. Just breathe and tell yourself you’re good, in this moment.
---
It's about the story we tell ourselves. Change that—change everything. "I have enough right now to be okay."
And remember: you are enough.
